Dhow Rib G&T Table: I was given the two pieces of timber by friends, and asked me to make a gin-and-tonic table with them. The top is (I think) a slice of spider gum and the bent leg is the rib of an East African dhow. I tried to keep the piece really simple so that the focus was on the provenance of the components. The third leg is the drive axle from a piece of agricultural machinery. The shorter screw is from a railway sleeper and the other is a large old carriage bolt. Finished in ProNature Outdoor.
